This hotel is 1st class, has efficient employees despite our request for late check out. The breakfast was complimentary and plentiful with a view of building materials, all the food was amazing. Generally everything was fabulous, nevertheless the bathroom was not clean. The venue was in an incredible location, to the next populated area.
The views were very limited.

Renovated room with a cozy bed that was really comfy. the location here is spot on, and the floors look amazing with their beautiful tiles! 🌟

The hotel was incredibly beautiful with obliging employees especially the restaurant manager. The room we had included a storage and a lounge.

The bed was awfully uncomfortable for 2 people. A staff member came to our room the following day and washed our dishes in the bathroom sink!

The rooms were really run down and bathroom was awful! Needs a lot of updating. Was very noisy as could hear neighbours on both sides of our room

Excellent location, right beside Mount John Observatory - awesome views! the restaurant was top-notch, especially for dinner, I loved their warm dishes. the ambiance here was so cozy, felt right at home. 🌟

Actually not a hotel issue, but as star gazing is a Tekapo feature the lighting for the walkway needs to be modified. The main bed could be arranged better - looking out over the view.

It was a pleasant stay in such a beautiful town. the restaurant was comfy for dinner, we both ordered basic dishes. - the location of the hotel was unbeatable and very special - not too far away from Dark Sky Project. - Set close to a garden and a lake, it was a plus.

Greatly enjoyed the twin/double room with a view, felt like we were home. This was a great location just next door to shops and the church of the good shepherd, all the bars and restaurants and bus stop. - It also was to a private outdoor area looking over the lake. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at the Godley Hotel in Lake Tekapo. the twin/double room with a view made us feel right at home. the hotel's convenient location near shops, the church of the good shepherd, bars, restaurants, and the bus stop was wonderful. having access to a private outdoor area with a view of the lake was a great bonus.
